Theme Customization and Brand Consulting
The Challenge: Soon after opening their first restaurant location in Carlsbad, KASI Indian Restaurants decided that a more dynamic WordPress website was needed to replace their static website.
The Solution: A responsive theme from StudioPress was selected for best display on mobile devices, with a more rich textured look for desktop computer users. The homepage features a responsive image slider, which re-sizes and relocates itself to fit different screen sizes. I built out the site, color-adjusted the client-supplied images, helped shoot new custom food photos, provided copywriting and editing, and customized all areas to add branded elements. An automated MailChimp subscription form was added, with branded subscription and confirmation forms – over 500 people opted in to receive email specials in the first year. I monitored and reported on site analytics and reponded to all customer feedback.
